Open Firearms qualification for local law enforcement

This course is a TCOLE accredited, open range for any local law enforcement or law enforcement agency that needs a firearms qualification. This course will leave the student with the required documentation to provide to their department in order to satisfy the requirements of TCOLE. The student is required to bring 100 rounds of ammunition, a duty belt with duty gun, 2 extra magazines (in addition to the magazine in the gun), eyes/ear protection. This is a 4 hour course of fire and requires a $100 payment online or an invoice completed and paid (in full by the day of the course) by the students law enforcement agency. CONTACT TO SCHEDULE. THERE ARE NO SET DATES FOR THIS COURSE. THIS CAN BE SCHEDULED FOR NO LESS THAN THREE OFFICERS AT A TIME AND CAN BE SCHEDULED FOR AN ENTIRE DEPARTMENT.

Advanced Rifle Operator Low Light (VCQB)

This is a 1 day (7 Hour), course of instruction that focuses on how to safely operate the law enforcement duty rifle and/or the home defense rifle. This course will familiarize the student with the basic functions and fundamentals of marksmanship with the duty rifle while also safely pushing the student to the limits of their current knowledge level. This course does start with 1 hour of in class instruction and end with 6-8 hours of shooting the pistol with lunch and breaks. This course will exponentially and aggressively sharpen the skills and marksmanship of the rifle operator in both the daylight and lowlight environment and will instill confidence in both the student and their host law enforcement agency. This course will start during the daylight hours and will ease the shooter into the needed skillset for low light conditions. The day will end with hours of shooting under low light conditions using both weapon-mounted lights and handheld lights. This course is VITAL to those that carry a firearm every day whether it is for work or personal protection.

Law enforcement students can be given their annual TCOLE firearms qualification for the duty pistol if requested at no extra cost. (with documentation for the host department).

200 rounds of pistol ammo and 2 extra magazines (three magazines total)

Intro To Firearms

This course is built to teach beginners the fundamentals of firearms operations

  • how to carry

  • when you can and can not carry

  • where you can and can not carry

  • laws surrounding ownership and use of firearms

  • self defense with firearms

  • hands on shooting experience in a private class and on a private range

  • 1 on 1 instruction on the firing range

  • Woman friendly course with details and information specifically for woman in regards to carrying and the tools that can and should be used

  • Instructor can provide firearms and ammo if needed if you reach out.

During this class we spend 2 hours in the class learning all about firearms and getting comfortable with them and then head to the range for two hours of shooting. This class will teach you the basics and more, it was created to ensure the responsible American citizen is able to protect themselves in every situation. This class is EXTREMELY friendly and very informative.

Reach out to the instructor to pay and/or talk about your specific training needs. The course cost for the day is $150, firearms and ammo can be provided after a conversation with the lead instructor.

This is a 1 day (10 Hour), course of instruction that focuses on how to safely operate the law enforcement duty pistol and/or the every day carry pistol. This course will familiarize the student with the basic functions and fundamentals of marksmanship with the duty pistol while also safely pushing the student to the limits of their current knowledge level. This course does start with 2-4 hours of in class instruction and end with 6-8 hours of shooting the pistol with lunch and breaks. This course will exponentially and aggressively sharpen the skills and marksmanship of the pistol operator and will instill confidence in both the student and their host law enforcement agency. This course will start during the daylight hours and will ease the shooter into the needed skillset for low light conditions. The day will end with hours of shooting under low light conditions using both pistol-mounted lights and handheld lights. Introduction to firearm operations

This course is built for beginners, it is a very slow and methodical learning process that allows for plenty of questions in a safe environment. This does not need to be said but I will receive questions about it and I want to address them now, this course is ABSOLUTELY FEMALE FRIENDLY and in fact is built around teaching mothers/parents how to carry and secure/handle their firearms around their families. 

  • This course will provide plenty of in class instruction on:

  • The safe handling of firearms

  • The circumstances around when and where to use a firearm (legally and within your rights)

  • How to react to a threat with a firearm (around or not around your family)

  • The legalities of using your firearm and what to expect if you do have to use your firearm in a life or death situation (from a police officers experienced point of view)

  • and so much more

This course will conclude with a very controlled and safe firing range. We will take our time on the range and it will be open for questions the entire time, this environment will be QUESTION FRIENDLY and questions are ENCOURAGED. This will be the perfect opportunity to learn everything you need to know about handguns and we will answer all of your questions that you’ve always wanted to ask but were too scared or embarrassed to ask! 

Get comfortable with your weapon in a controlled environment and different methods of shooting!

Advanced Rifle Operators Course

This is a 1 day (10 Hour), TCOLE accredited course of instruction that focuses on how to safely operate the law enforcement patrol rifle. This course will familiarize the student with the basic functions and fundamentals of marksmanship with the patrol rifle and duty pistol while also safely pushing the student to the limits of their current knowledge level. This course does start with 2-4 hours of in class instruction and end 6 hours of shooting the patrol rifle and pistol with lunch and breaks. This course will exponentially and aggressively sharpen the skills and marksmanship of the patrol rifle and pistol operator and will instill confidence in both the student and their host law enforcement agency. The student will be TCOLE certified and be given their annual TCOLE firearms qual for all three weapons during this course (with documentation for the host department).

A duty/patrol rifle

Duty pistol

Duty belt

600 rounds of rifle ammunition and 3-5 magazines

200 rounds of pistol ammo and 2 extra magazines (three magazines total)

Introduction to Firearms

This course is for any person that wants to learn how to handle and operate a handgun. This is a one of a kind course that is tailored to someone that has never fired a handgun but wants to protect their family if needed, for the beginner that wants more knowledge on the operations and possibilities of their handgun, or the person that is struggling with whether or not they should purchase a handgun.

Minimum required students 7, Maximum 15

This course is built for beginners, it is a very slow and methodical learning process that allows for plenty of questions in a safe environment. This does not need to be said but I will receive questions about it and I want to address them now, this course is ABSOLUTELY FEMALE FRIENDLY and in fact is built around teaching mothers/parents how to carry and secure/handle their firearms around their families.  FIREARM RENTALS ARE AVAILABLE / AMMO IS TO BE BROUGHT (speak to instructor with any questions or concerns about rentals or ammo)

  • This course will provide plenty of in class instruction on:

  • The safe handling of firearms

  • The circumstances around when and where to use a firearm (legally and within your rights)

  • How to react to a threat with a firearm (around or not around your family)

  • The legalities of using your firearm and what to expect if you do have to use your firearm in a life or death situation (from a police officers experienced point of view)

  • and so much more

This course will conclude with a very controlled and safe firing range. We will take our time on the range and it will be open for questions the entire time, this environment will be QUESTION FRIENDLY and questions are ENCOURAGED. This will be the perfect opportunity to learn everything you need to know about handguns and we will answer all of your questions that you’ve always wanted to ask but were too scared or embarrassed to ask! 

Get comfortable with your weapon in a controlled environment and different methods of shooting!

2 hours in course instruction OPEN FOR QUESTIONS & 1-2 hours of shooting depending on the conversation and Q&A

This course requires:

The student to bring a handgun / Contact instructor to rent a handgun

200-250 rounds of pistol ammo

Please bring the weapon unloaded and please try to bring at least 2 magazines total. (Disregard for revolvers)

Intro to Advanced Traffic Stops

This course is a TCOLE accredited, half day (4 hour) course of instruction that focuses on how to initiate persons or vehicle of interest and effecting a successful and safe traffic stop. This course is conducted at night in order to introduce low light tactics into the training. The day starts with 2 hours of in class instruction and 2 hours of controlled field work. This course will focus on how to begin a traffic stop before the stop has even begun, how to safely approach and complete the stop, as well as signs and hints that will lead to a field investigation and subsequent arrest to include safe evidence collection. This course also goes over how the rights and powers of the law enforcement officer and how to use their rights and powers to their advantage. This course is IMPERATIVE for any uniformed law enforcement officer that is expected to conduct “routine” traffic stops as well as any officers that are looking to start vehicle interdiction efforts.
